Queer inSIGHT

Last year First Take worked alongside Queer Bodies Poetry Collective with 10 Queer poets from Liverpool to create Queer inSIGHT. A project that brought spoken word, music and film together to explore the ever changing landscape of Gender and Sexuality.

As well as working towards creating the films , First Take also hosted a Queer inSIGHT evening at Quarry where the poets performed alongside music, visuals and AI vjing.

All the films went on to be selected for the Community Strand at the Iris prize 2023.
